Nathaline Knight Riddle 78 of Newberry widow of Charles Riddle died Wednesday November 25 2015 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be from 10:30 until 11:30 am on Friday November 27 2015 at Bethany Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday November 27 2015 at Bethany Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. Robert McCollum. Interment will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Born on January 14 1937 in Lancaster County she was the daughter of the late Callie E. and Laura Pardue Knight. She was formerly a nurse at Newberry County Memorial Hospital and retired from the Newberry County Health Department. She along with her husband Charles were the owners and operators of Riddle Sheet Metal Company. Mrs. Riddle was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and the S.C. Nurses Association. She loved children especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed yard work and gardening both vegetable and flower. Her hobby was traveling in the U.S. and abroad. She is survived by her sons Charles Wayne (Beth) Riddle Ronnie Riddle and Alan Riddle all of Prosperity; siblings Donald (Linda) Knight Vivian Kesler Vonnie (Roger) Trammell and Connie Cannon all of Newberry; 6 grandchildren Laurie Brandon Tiffany Christine Amber and Maggie; and 3 great grandchildren Braxton Khloe and Drake.
