Nell Ruff Dominick 93 formerly of 942 Broad River Road Columbia widow of Teddy P. Dominick Sr. died Thursday October 13 2005 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.Mrs. Dominick was born on March 6 1912 in Newberry County a daughter of the late J. Caldwell and Pauline Nance Ruff. She was a graduate of Columbia Hospital School of Nursing and was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in ColumbiaMrs. Dominick is survived by a daughter and son-in-law LaNelle and Robert Barber of Charleston; two sons and daughters-in-law Teddy P. and Laura Dominick of Prosperity and George W. and Sheryl Dominick of Newberry; two sisters Estelle Young of Asheville N.C. and Geraldine Harmon of Newberry; eight grandchildren Angela Dee Bradley Kristin Bryan Teddy Parker Dominick III Hope McIntosh Matt Barber Shawn Taylor Amanda Coleman and Jane West; and fourteen great granddchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters Frances George and Marquerette Altig and a brother John Caldwell Ruff Jr. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at St. Andrews Lutheran Church by the Rev. John Trump. Interment was in St. Andrews Lutheran Church Cemetery.Visitation was from 5:30 to 7:30 PM Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.Memorials may be made to the St. Andrews Lutheran Church 1416 Broad River Road Columbia SC 29210.
