Nila Schneider Schricker 87 of White Rock died Tuesday February 4 2014 at her residence. Born on May 26 1926 in East St. Louis IL she was the daughter of the late Richard Hartman Schneider and Norma Echol Schneider. Mrs. Schricker was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed her involvement in volunteer work. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and also a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority for 50 years. Nila is survived by her husband of 67 years Bruce S. Schricker; daughters Jean Schricker Grader (Michael) of Hanover PA and Laura Leigh Schricker Burton (John) of Fishers IN; son Brian R. Schricker PhD. Of Chandler AZ; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 AM Saturday February 8 2014 at Bethel Lutheran Church by the Rev. Gary R. Lyerly. Interment did follow in the church cemetery. Following the interment service the family did receive friends in the social hall of Bethel Lutheran Church.
