Nita Harmon Coffey, 56, of Whitmire, died Wednesday, October, 4, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland. Born on September 19, 1961in Newberry, she was a daughter of Donnie and Bertha Long Harmon. Nita was a member of Queens Memorial Presbyterian Church. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and treasured spending time with them. In addition to her parents, Nita is survived by her children, Christi (Neal) Epps and Robby (Tiffany) Coffey all of Newberry and Donny Coffey (Sarah) of Little Mountain; brother, Dale Harmon of Kinards; grandchildren, Corey, Demarcus, Matthew, R.C. Coffey, V, and Jessie; and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased her husband, Robert Coffey, III and sister Lesa Anne Harmon. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday at Queens Memorial Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Dr. David Torrey. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October7, 2017 at the residence of Christi and Neal Epps, 692 Folk Rd., Newberry. Active pallbearers will be Corey Epps, Demarcus Epps, Matthew Epps, Kenny Coffey, Michael Evans, and Roger Long. Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
