Inez Lillian Paddy McMordie Wicker 87 formerly of Newberry died Friday June 28 2013 in Allendale County. Graveside funeral services were conducted at 11:30 A.M. Friday July 5 2013 in Rosemont Cemetery Newberry by the Rev. David Fields. Visitation was prior to the service on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M at the Whitaker Funeral Home. She was born on August 22 1925 in Belfast N. Ireland a daughter of the late Francis Bertram and Anna Mary Millar McMordie. She was married to the late William Jennings Wicker. Mrs. Wicker was a member of Bellinger Chapel United Methodist Church and a former member of Central United Methodist Church. Prior to retirement she had worked at Lexington Medical Center and Allendale County Hospital. Survivors include her daughter Julia Wicker Parlagreco (Charles J.) of Canton GA; her son William J. Wicker Jr. (Johnny Lou Lively) of Fairfax SC; grandchildren Charles J. Parlagreco (Thea Noelle) Kevin M. Parlagreco (Jessica R.) and Andrew C. Parlagreco; and great granddaughters Kylee M. and Olivia A. Parlagreco. The family suggest memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association 7021 St. Andrews Road Suite 100A Columbia S.
