Patricia Carol Kelly Becker Dowd of 808 College St. Newberry SC died Saturday November 30 2013 at her residence with her husband Bryan Harvey Dowd by her side. She was born on August 14 1964 in Bamburg SC a daughter of Joyce Edna Kelly and the late Lawrence A. Kelly Jr. She was a great intellect in many areas. She worked as a dental hygienist in Heidelberg Germany was an avid reader a master of languages full of compassion and at times a comedian for her family. In addition to her husband of Swansea and her mother of Newberry she is survived by her children Christian K. Becker and wife Maimi of Japan Patrick A Becker Rachel L.J. Dowd and Liam F. Dowd all of Newberry; brother Lawrence A Kelly and wife Kitty of Columbus GA; sisters Kathleen E. Kelly and Mary A. Kelly Glass both of Newberry; granddaughters Khloe Becker of Newberry and Fumika Becker of Japan; aunts uncles nieces nephews cousins and friends.
