Patricia "Trish" Smith O'Neal, 64, of Columbia, South Carolina, died May 3, 2025.

Born on May 14, 1960, in Winslow, Arizona, to the late John and Mildred (Newman) Smith.

Trish was the assistant to the famed South Carolina artist, Guy Lipscomb.

Her true passion was art, and she curated a collection of pieces that she proudly displayed in her home.

Trish found joy in the constant companionship her cat, Broovie, added to her life. She also enjoyed working in the yard, where landscaping and flower beds were a canvas to express her creativity.

She loved spending time with her granddaughter, Sabina and was a proud "Mimi."

Trish is survived by her two daughters and her son-in-law, Crystal and Ilya Suraeva, Rachael O'Neal; and her granddaughter, Sabina, all of Greenville, SC.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Whitaker Funeral Home -Chapin.
