IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul Floyd
Clark
July 26, 1949 – December 27, 2023
Paul Floyd Clark, age 74, entered into eternal rest on December 27,2023, at the Lexington Medical Center, in Lexington, South Carolina.
Born on July 26, 1949, in Worcester, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Edward Coe Clark and the late Rose Elizabeth Fitzsimmons Clark.
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he was mainly stationed at the Pensacola Navel Base in Pensacola, Florida. After his service in the Navy, he worked as a U.S Marshal for a number of years before becoming a pilot with Atlas-Polar Cargo Airlines. Paul possessed a great love for flying and over a twenty-year career, he worked his way up the chain of command to Captain. He absolutely loved his job as a pilot and enjoyed flying so much, he owned his own airplane.
Aside from his outstanding career and when Paul reached his retirement, he was able to spend more time with his family and taking care of his farm. "Hobby-Farm" is what he would often call it and this gave him much enjoyment in life with his love for animals; especially his dogs. Paul's family always came first to him, treasuring the littlest to the biggest moments, while spending as much time with them as he able. He also acquired a passion for fast muscle cars and enjoyed taking his 2002 Ford Mustang GT for a quick spin.
Paul is survived by: his beloved wife of twenty-two years, Marcia J. Clark; his sons, Robert F. Clark (Maureen) and Matthew M. Fiori; his daughters, Barbara Ann Fiori (Dan Hetzel) and Jessica Olson (Chris); his grandchildren, David Clark, Alice Clark, Paul Manning, Andy Manning, Madison Greif, Lukus Olson, Grant Olson and Gabriel Olson. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Gibson, Paisley Manning, Dominic Manning and Jordy Manning; and his brothers, Dr. Edward Clark (Pat) and Greg Clark (Bonnie).
In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Anne Cooper Clark and his sister, Betsy Clark.
