Paul L. Moore 85 of Ninety Six died Friday January 8 2016 in Chapin SC. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday January 12 2016 at Chapin Baptist Church conducted by Rev. James Clonts and Rev. Phillip Vaughn. Visitation will follow the service at the church. Interment with Masonic Rites will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens Greenwood SC at 3:00 PM on Tuesday. Born on January 27 1930 in Greenwood he was a son of the late Jesse Lee Moore and Ethel Orene Perry Moore. He served in the Army National Guard and was retired from Moore Business Forms. Mr. Moore was a member of Chapin Baptist Church where he was also a member of Legends and the Mens 1 Sunday School Class. He was a former member of South Main Street Baptist Church in Greenwood. Additionally he was a member of Mathews Masonic Lodge #358 and was a member of the Oriental Band. Mr. Moore was a jack of all trades a man who could do anything. Quite the craftsman he made furniture worked on his friends cars and along with his family built his first lake cabin. He enjoyed cutting grass and fishing. He also enjoyed watching football games while cracking pecans and deeply loved his dogs and cat. He was married to the late Barbara Jean Cox Moore for over 60 years. He is survived by his sons Jimmie Lee Moore of Napa CA and Joseph Charles Jofy Moore (Jennie) of Bluffton; daughters Rebecca Lynn Moore Satterfield (Doug) of Chapin and Laurie Jean Moore Long (Fred) of Irmo; grandsons Zachary Andrew Long (Kendall) Daniel Tyler Satterfield and Cullen Hunter Satterfield; great grandson Braxton Andrew Long; and brother John Moore of Greenwood. In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by a grandson Joseph Nicklaus and a brother Ed Moore.
