Pauline Wicker Hyler 71 of Newberry died Friday July 11 2014 at White Oak Manor. We lost a beautiful Mother but Heaven has gained a wonderful Angel Funeral services were conducted 11 AM Tuesday at Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Eddie Bledsoe. Interment was in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation was from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. Mrs. Hyler was born on April 9 1943 in Newberry a daughter of the late Margaret Wicker Yarborough. She was a homemaker and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. She loved her church and especially her sons. She was a generous person who always had something funny to say and never missed an opportunity to take a trip. Mrs. Hyler is survived by sons Henry D. (Betty) Hyler and Ernest H. Skeet (Melody) Hyler both of Prosperity and David W. Snookie Hyler of Newberry; sister Neisha Azalee Clarke of Augusta GA; brother Randall English of Whitmire; and a special family friend Mitchell. She was predeceased by her husband Duke Henry Hyler and a son Ricky Hyler. Memorials may be made to Freedom Baptist Church 2028 Mt.
