Pearl Elizabeth Ringer 87 years old went to be with her Lord on Tuesday September 28 2010 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Elizabeth born June 27 1923 in Newberry SC was a graduate of Newberry High School and the business department of Newberry College. She served as the payroll clerk at the Newberry cotton mill until her marriage to James Elbert Ringer Sr. also of Newberry on December 25 1942. After their marriage Elizabeth dedicated the remainder of her life not only to her beloved husband of 67 years but also to the care and well being of her children and grandchildren. The value of her role in their lives is immeasurable. She was predeceased by her father A.P. Boozer Sr.; her mother Rhoda Pearl Boozer; her siblings Mamie B. Hawkins Cornelia B. Timmerman A.P. Boozer Jr. Dr. Albert M. Boozer and J. Calvin Boozer. Her first grandchild James Brett Ringer also predeceased her in death. She is survived by her loving husband James 91 years old; her son James Elbert Ringer Jr.; her daughter Sarah Ringer Bragg; her former daughter-in-law Nancy Zygadlo Ringer; and her son-in-law Roger D. Bragg. She has three living grandchildren; Jason Zygadlo Ringer Matthew Ringer Bragg and Savannah Grace Bragg. Graveside services were held for immediate family at 1:00 PM Friday by the Rev. Jimmy Counts in Rosemont Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the James Brett Ringer Memorial Fund c/o Jim Ringer 178 Hammock Village Seabrook Island SC 29455.
