Pearl Nobles Hiller 86 of 949 Lindsay Circle Newberry died Friday December 31 2010. Born on August 29 1924 in Newberry County she was a daughter of the late Ernest L. and Lilly Stockman Nobles. Mrs. Hiller was a member of Mayer Memorial Lutheran and worked as a caregiver for Whitten Center and the Lowman Home. She is survived by daughters Patricia Gayle Weathers and Mary Helen Stuhr both of Newberry; son Phillip H. Hiller of North Charleston; grandchildren Dia Cohen (Tony) Ware Jason Kyle (Haley) Stuhr and Michael Thomas (Jessica) Weathers and a special granddaughter Katie Suber; great-grandchildren James Darren Cohen and Wyatt McBride Stuhr; great-great-grandchildren Deeanna Cohen and Kayleigh Cohen; and sister-in-law Alice Nobles Ginn. She was predeceased by her husband Jessie F. Dick Hiller; sister Mary N. Baker; and brothers J.C. Nobles and Everette Bo Nobles. Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM Monday January 3 2011 at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Mary Havens and the Rev. Orlando McCauley Jr. Interment was be in Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family was at 3260 Nance St. Newberry and did formally receive friends from 3 to 5 PM Sunday at the Whitaker Funeral Home Newberry.
