Penny Estelle Swayne Joiner 51 wife of Barney L. Joiner died Wednesday December 26 2012 at her home. Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Monday December 31 2012 at Whitaker Funeral Home of Chapin 939 Chapin Rd. Visitation was from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Monday prior to the service at Whitaker Funeral Home Chapin. Penny was born March 14 1961 in Sumter SC a daughter of Peggy Gibson and the late Gilbert Martin. She was a graduate of West Florence High School and a member of St. Andrews Baptist Church of Irmo. In addition to her husband of Chapin and her mother of Myrtle Beach she is survived by daughters Jennifer Swayne and Stephanie Swayne both of Irmo; sister Kimberly Mangual of Gaston; step-daughters Michelle Joiner and Alicia Joiner both of Chapin and step-son Ryan Joiner of Chapin.
