Peyton Christopher Reppart, 16 years old, of Newberry, died on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, GA.
Peyton was born on June 23, 2003 in Rockhill, a son of Terri Boyd Brooks and Chris L. Reppart.
Peyton, a loved young man, spent his sixteen years grasping life and all its beauty. He entered this world full of energy with a fondness for the outside world. Baseball, fishing and hunting were among his favorite activities. He was comfortable being the comedian making people laugh or being the young man enjoying listening to music of all genres. Friends were important to him and at his young age he understood how to appreciate all people. Peyton loved his truck "Cat Eye".
He attended Central United Methodist Church, was a student at Cornerstone Community School and was a proud member of the 2017 Mid Carolina/SC State Little League Championship team.
Survivors include his parents, Terri and Chris Brooks and Chris and Heather Reppart, siblings, Madison Reppart, McKenzie and McKenley Reppart, Lindsey Waldrop and Mason Hunter; grandparents, Lillian Hoeschen, Joyce and Ken Reppart, Shaye and Eric Miller, Dianne and Ronny Bannister, Paul and Linda Beall and Mary Boyd; great grandmother, Elise Summer; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Jerry Hoeschen and Fred Boyd, III; great grandmother, Cathy Keithley and great great grandmother Estelle Bond.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, January 31 at Central United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. David Surrett. Visitation will follow the service in Henry Hall at the church.
Honorary pallbearers will be players and coaches of the 2017 Mid Carolina/SC State Little League Championship team and students and teachers of Cornerstone Community School.
