Phillip E. Phil Miller 60 of 188 Horse Creek Road Saluda died Saturday August 17 2013 at his residence. Born in Newberry on October 19 1952 he is the son of John W. and Judy Caldwell Miller of Saluda. Funeral services were conducted at 6:00 PM Thursday August 22 2013 at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Mary Havens. Phil will be remembered for many things especially for his love of golf rock music and his dog Bo Bo. He was very skilled with his hands enjoyed building things gardening and taking care of his parents later in his life. In addition to his parents Phil is survived by his sister Beth (Toni) Miller and brother Joel (Sophie) Miller all of Saluda. The family suggests memorials be made a charity of ones choice.
