Obituary

Ralph E. Epting 91 of Little Mountain died Monday March 29 2010 in Lexington Medical Center. Born in Newberry County on July 11 1918 he was a son of the late Jacob C. and Annie Riser Epting. He was married to the late Mary Lindler Epting. A veteran of the US Army he served in Belgium during World War II. He was a member of Little Mountain Masonic Lodge #281 and a retired employee of SCE&G. Mr. Epting was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where he was also a member of the Men's Sunday School Class. He is survived by two sons Carl E. Epting and R. Edward Epting both of Little Mountain; four grandchildren Carla Hatch Bradley Epting Jacob Epting and Susan Epting; and five great grandchildren Dallas Chloe and Ingram Epting and Isabella and Zachary Hatch.Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Fred Suhr.Interment was in the church cemetery.
