Ralph Howard McJunkins 58 of 496 Blackberry Lane Pomaria died Tuesday May 13 2003 at Palmetto Baptist Medical Center. Mr. McJunkins was born on October 31 1944 in Newberry County SC a son of the late Ralph Thomas McJunkins and Nellie Harris Brown. He was raised by his father and mother James and Nellie Brown. He was an U. S. Air Force veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He attended the Freedom Baptist Church.Mr. McJunkins is survived by his wife Phyllis Keyes McJunkins of the home; sons Johnny McJunkins of Newberry and Michael McJunkins of Greenville; a step-daughter Tina Dunn of Rock Hill; step-sons Edward Andrews of Lugoff and Andy Andrews of Fresco CA; sisters Kathy Brown Cromer of Prosperity and Cynthia Brown Hamm of Irmo; brothers Leonard Brown and Robert Brown both of Newberry; and twelve grandchildren.Memorial services for Ralph Howard McJunkins will be conducted at 2:00 P. M. Sunday May18 at Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev. Eddie Bledsoe.Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M. Thursday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
