Regan Xavier Edwards,56, of Prosperity, SC died Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Born on September 23, 1960 in Takoma Park, MD, he was a son of Bobby Gene Edwards and Reba Bartee Ohler. Regan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Chapin Branch. It would be entirely too difficult to tell Regan's story in a paragraph, therefore it is best to list the many attributes that come to his family's minds when they think of him (Babe, Daddy, Pops, PawPaw): loyal, extraordinary, faithful, loving, earnest, passionate, leader, intelligent, giving, full of life, strong minded, charitable, huge heart, eager, powerful, funny, thoughtful, jack of all trades, compassionate, perfectionist, active, character, strong, gave the best hugs, endearing, charming, lover, sentimental fool, friend, brother, son-in-law, husband, hardworking, provider, and patriarch. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer DuVall Edwards of Prosperity; daughter, Ashley Regan Edwards Boulton (Lake) of Prosperity; granddaughters, Davney and Soren Boulton; parents, Bobby Edwards (Tammy) of Tallahassee, FL and Reba Ohler (Wayne) of Charlestown, WV ; siblings, Ray Edwards (Charlene) of Middletown, MD, Rodney Edwards (Kelly) of Baltimore, MD, Nina Youmans of Damascus, MD, and Rorie Castellon of Charlestown, WV; father and mother-in-law, Marge and Ed DuVall of Chapin; brothers-in-law, Brian DuVall (D'Lynn) of Millsboro, DE and Christopher DuVall of Chapin; and sister-in-law, Jeanette DuVall of Seaford, DE. He was predeceased by a son, Justin DuVall Edwards, sister, Renee` Creager, and a brother-in-law, Keith DuVall. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Chapin Branch, 7449 Broad River Rd., Irmo, SC 29063. The family will receive friends at the Church from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM prior to the service.
