The Rev. Wilbur Dean Miller 79 1801 Greencroft Blvd. Goshen IN died Sunday at 7:15 p.m. at Greencroft Healthcare.He was born Feb. 23 1929 to Warren and Viola M. (Miller) Miller in Millersburg.He attended Goshen College for three years and Lutheran Theological Seminary for three years. He worked at Heine Hardware which is now John Halls Hardware Goshen. He first pastored in Spencerville then at St. Phillip's Lutehran Church in Newberry where after retirement he served as assistant pastor. He was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church Lexington S.C. After moving back to Goshen he became active at First English Lutheran Church Goshen.He married Joann (Heine) Miller May 25 1952. She survives.Also surviving are his son Stewart C. Miller Houston Texas; and his daughter Kathy (LaVern) Nisley Goshen; three sisters Luella Eash Goshen Mary (John) Culp Hesston Kan. and Miriam (Dilman) Black Millersburg; two brothers Ronald Miller and Leroy (Tawney) Miller both of Goshen; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.The funeral service was conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday The Rev. Gene Hollingsworth of First English Lutheran Church lead the service. Burial was in Violett Cemetery Goshen.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First English Lutheran Church.Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home Goshen IN is assisting the family with arrangements.
