Richard Bush 58 of 2047 Piedmont Street Newberry died May 10 2003 at his residence. Mr. Bush was born on December 31 1944 in Prosperity a son the late of Ransom S. and Ophelia Gray Bush. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnan War and was employed at Maclean Fiberglass Industries. Mr. Bush was a member of the Amity Masonic Lodge #87 Newberry York Rites Bodies and Hejaz Shrine Temple. He was a member and the President of Newberry County Shrine Club and a member of Beaver Dam Fishing Club. Mr. Bush is survived by his wife Toby Stribble Bush of the home; a son Melvin R. Dominick of the home; a step-daughter Kandy K. Ringer of Newberry; a son-in-law Heyward Ringer of Silverstreet; three grandchildren Timothy C. Ringer and Christopher J. Ringer of Newberry and Heather C. Dominick of Myrtle Beach; a God son Audi James Myers of Newberry; six sisters Gladys Wilson of Aiken Ella Stevens and Mary McJunkins both of Newberry Brenda Calvitt and Annie Amick both of Lexington and Betty Gresham of Union; two brothers Ransom "Randy' Bush Jr. of Silverstreet and John A. "Buddy" Bush of Honea Path; four sisters-in-law Peggy S. Myers and Betty D. Stribble both Newberry Shirley S. Boozer of Prosperity and Bobbie H. Bush of Honea Path; 29 nieces and nephews a number of great nieces and cousins and a lots of friends. He was predeceased by a sister Elizabeth Markee a brother Curtis R. Bush and a granddaughter Casey Roxan Dominick. Funeral services for Richard Bush will be conducted Tuesday at 6:00 P. M. at the Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev. Walter Byrd. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 P. M. Monday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. The family will be at the residence 2047 Piedmont Street Newberry.
