Richard L. Beach Sr. 49 of 2763 Collinswood Drive Newberry died Wednesday March 3 2004 at his residence. Mr. Beach was born on December 18 1954 in Concord NC a son of the late J. Robert Beach Sr. and Mildred Gray Beach. He was disabled and attended Freedom Baptist Church.Mr. Beach is survived by wife Tena Langford Beach of the home; a daughter and son-in-law Andrea L. and Bobby Walker of Pelion; a son and daughter-in-law Richard L. Beach Jr. and Bethany Beach of Newberry; a step-daughter Erika Nicole Mihalik of Newberry; a step-son Joseph L. Mihalik of Newberry; three sisters and a brother-in-law Becky and Bobby Green Sue Goff and Cindy Trammell all of Newberry; two brothers Jimmy Beach of Joanna and Bobby Beach of Youngstown OH; four grandchildren Rebeca Beach Joshua Walker Candy Garland and Ashley Walker; a step-granddaughter Rachel Scott.Funeral services for Richard L. Beach Sr. will be conducted at 10:00 A. M. Saturday at the Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev. Eddie Bledsoe. Interment will be in Rosemont CemeteryVisitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 P. M.
