Richard "Rick" Funderburk, 61, of Newberry died on August 5, 2019 at his residence. Rick was born on August 26, 1957 in Rock Hill, SC and was a son of the late Richard and Priscilla Snyder Funderburk. He was a registered nurse by profession and was also a veteran of the US Navy. Survivors include his children, Ivey Homer (Brian) of Irmo, SC and Grant Funderburk (Arianne) of Asheville, NC; siblings Marie Funderburk (William Calhoun) of Chapin, SC and Dale Funderburk (Melanie) of Charlotte, NC; and two grandchildren, Calhoun Homer and Collins Funderburk.
