Ricky Hugh Kingsmore, 70, of Prosperity, South Carolina, died Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at his home.

Born in Newberry, South Carolina, on December 10, 1954, he was a son of the late Rayeford Lee Kingsmore and Katherine Minnick Kingsmore.

He is survived by his companion of 10 years, Linda Young, and her daughters, Lois K. Combs and Kimberly Dawn Young,  aunts, Dollie Lunsford,  Dot Minnick, cousin, David Kingsmore, and close friends, Robert Cearly and Amanda Bouknight.

A funeral service for Ricky will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church with a visitation one hour prior beginning at 3:00 p.m.
