Robert "Bob" Alan Duplaga, 71, of Newberry, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Pruitt Health of Ridgeway.

Born on November 19, 1952, in Parma, Ohio, he was the son of the late Milton Duplaga and the late Norma Brown Duplaga.

Bob was a talented and skilled Painter and craftsman. He was the owner of Duplaga Painting & Wallpaper and over his career of 48 years, he was awarded The Wallpapers Guild Award. Bob had an interest in woodworking, carving and making bowls, snowman ornaments and Christmas Trees. He was an avid baseball fan, always cheering on his "Cleveland Indians", who have recently changed their name to the Guardians.

Bob loved his family dearly. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and always adored the moments and time coaching his kids and grandchildren the game of baseball.

Bob is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gina Duplaga; his daughters, Leslie Twining and Kelsey Zapata; his beloved five grandchildren; and his sister, Gayle Hill.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Sauter.
