Robert L. Koon 60 of 641 Clipper Trail Chapin SC died Friday November 25 2005 at the Lexington Medical Center.Mr. Koon was born on March 25 1945 in Chapin a son of the late Claude C. and Nellie McCartha Koon. He attended the Newberry Church of God.Mr. Koon survived by his wife Trudy A. Koon; four daughters Hope Wilson of Newberry Robbie Harris of Prosperity Cindy Nichols of Williston and Diane Koon of Newberry; one son Tony Koon of Dallas TX; one sister Frances Riddle of Little Mountain; one brother Carroll C. Koon of Newberry; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Tammy Jewel Koon.Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 P.M. Monday at Newberry Church of God by the Rev. Daniel Nash. Interment was in Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church CemeteryThe family did receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. The family was at the residence of his daughter Robbie Harris 465 Long Road Prosperity.
