R. Wayne Turner, 60, of Newberry died Friday at J. F. Hawkins Nursing Home. Born on Oct. 11, 1956 in Newberry, he was a son of the late W. E. Turner Jr. and Velma Parson Turner. Wayne was a former employee of W. E. Turner Jewelers of Newberry and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He is survived by his brothers W. E. Turner, III (Melissa) of Laurens and David Len Turner (Debbie) of Newberry and his step-mother, Grace Yon Turner of Clinton. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Monday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday at Rosemont Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Susan G.
