Roger Dale "Bubba" Perry, 78, of Silverstreet, died Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at his son's home.

Born on April 9, 1946, in Tennesee, he was a son of the late Jesse Jermon Perry and Francis Elizabeth Davenport Perry.

His working years were spent on Mayers Farm as a milker for over 30 years.

Roger enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by son, Rodney Perry; son-in-law, Rickey Davis; both of Silverstreet; grandchildren, Korysa Perry-Davis, Silverstreet; Kapresha Perry-Davis, Greenville; Rickkya Perry-Davis, Silverstreet; Markell Davis, Silverstreet; great grandchildren, Jerrell Williams, Silverstreet; Kyzer Ballard, Greenville; and sister, Lou Travis, North Carolina.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mamie Kathlean Perry and daughter, Mamie Kathlean Perry-Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Whitaker Funeral Home in Newberry. Burial will follow the service in Mt Tabor Methodist Church Cemetery, Whitmire.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Whitaker Funeral Home in Newberry.

Pallbearers will be Tony McMurtury, Rickey Davis, and Markell Davis.
