Ronald Ronnie K. Peters 66 of Irmo SC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday August 12 2015 at Lexington Medical Center. Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. on Monday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church Chapin SC with visitation to follow at the church from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday August 18 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Lake of Chapin SC Building Fund. Born on November 28 1948 in Warren Ohio he was the son of Oscar Jack and Lena Mather Peters. Ronnie was a courageous man that inspired all that knew him. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He never let the word Cancer defeat him. Ronnie was never alone he always had his index cards yellow legal pad and cross pen with him. Ronnie loved trains antique trucks and traveling. There was no stopping him when he was ready to go. Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his friends telling stories and repeating the same stories over and over. His infectious personality and smile always brought joy to those around him. Those who knew him referred to him as Superman or the toughest guy I have ever known. He is survived by his wife Brenda Peters and most loving Kitty Cat Licorice; children Allison Mishoe (Kyle) Brad Peters (Doreen Wright and daughter Kayla) Craig Peters (Becky) all of Columbia and Amanda Busbee (Jason) of Lexington; grandchildren Kayla and Kinslee Mishoe Sydney and Adelaide Peters and Haley and Logan Busbee; sister Theresa Keefer (Don) of Newton Falls OH; niece Rachelle Ginter (Daryl); nephew Brian Keefer and 4 great nieces.
