Rose Bodie Gatlin 82 widow of L.E. "Bill" Gatlin Jr. died Friday December 19 2003 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.Mrs. Gatlin was born on November 26 1921 in Saluda County a daughter of the late Thomas and Lula Shaw Bodie. She was a member of O'Neal St. United Methodist Church the United Methodist Women and the Nan Layton Circle.Mrs. Gatlin is survived by two sons L.E. "Ed" Gatlin III of Clemson and Milton A. Gatlin of Greer; six grandchildren Drew Gatlin Sanders Gatlin Miranda Gatlin Angie Taylor Luke Gatlin and Rosemary Arthur; and five great grandchildren.Funeral services for Rose Bodie Gatlin will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. Sunday at O'Neal St. United Methodist Church by the Rev. Kem Thomas. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
