Rosemarie Cavallone Dickert 60 of 2727 Collinswood Dr. Newberry died Wednesday July 4 2012 at her residence. Visitation was from 1:00 to 2:00 PM and 4:00 to 6:00 PM Saturday at the Whitaker Funeral Home Newberry. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer by the Rev. Dr. David Seymour. Interment was in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Born December 30 1951 in Columbia SC she was the daughter of the late Angelo Paul and Virginia Vicki Freyer Cavallone. Rosemarie worked as an administrative assistant at the Newberry County Sheriffs Office for many years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer a proud supporter of Relay for Life and a volunteer at Sistercare. She is survived by her husband of 35 years Ronnie C. Dickert Sr.; daughter Shelley Marie (Derek) Long of Silverstreet; sons Ronald C. Dickert Jr. of Augusta GA and M. Ryan (Keli) Dickert of Prosperity; grandchildren Lesley M. Diener S. Jonah Diener Sydney Rose Diener Alyx Long Brittany Dickert Ashley Dickert Trey Dickert and Ayden Dickert; sisters Teresa (Barry) Crawford of Cayce and Linda (Pete) Meetze of West Columbia; and brothers-in-law Dan C. (Sandra) Dickert of Prosperity Leo Thomas of Columbia and Bobby Forbis of Newberry. She was predeceased by a sister Marianne Morgan; and sisters-in-law Susan D. Thomas and Peggy Forbis. Honorary pallbearers will be the Newberry County Sheriffs Office.
