Ruby Lee Livingston Turner 92 formerly of 1241 Hunt St. Newberry widow of Howard F. Turner died Tuesday September 7 2004 at J.F. Hawkins Healthcare.Mrs. Turner was born on February 7 1912 in Newberry a daughter of the late E.H. and Pearl Halfacre Livingston. She was a graduate of Newberry College and a member of Clayton Memorial Unitarian Church. She was a school teacher at Bush River High School for several years. She worked with Sears for 12 years and was the bookkeeper for Turner's Jewelers of Newberry Inc. until her retirement.Mrs. Turner is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Hugh and Linda Turner of Newberry; grandchildren and spouses Chip and Cari Turner of Ninety Six and Michael Turner and Brandon and Rachael Turner all of Newberry; great grandchildren Justin Turner and Shelby Turner both of Ninety-Six and Amber Turner of Newberry; and a niece Phyllis Boozer of Newberry. .Funeral services for Ruby Lee Turner will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev. John Miller. Interment will be in Newberry Memorial gardens. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
