Ruth Bradley Seymore, 88, of Newberry, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at White Oak Manor.
Born in Korona, Florida on November 2, 1927, she was a daughter of the late A. G. Bradley and Lula Hunt Bradley. She was married to the late James "JD" Seymore.
Mrs. Seymore was a member of Summer Memorial Lutheran Church and was retired from Prosperity Manufacturing. She was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother, one that adored and cared for her six grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda S. Knight of Newberry; brother, Herbert Bradley of Port Charlotte, FL; grandchildren, Alisha (Eric) Davenport, Anita Fulmer, Alison Wicker, Kenneth (Nichole) Tucker, Tim (Kristen) Tucker and Stacey (Michael) Brooks; thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley S. Tucker, son-in-law, Donald Knight and five siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Summer Memorial Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. Jane Mitchum. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Evelyn Maw and the Visiting Teams of Summer Memorial Lutheran Church.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the home of her daughter, Linda Knight, 1148 Airport Road, Newberry, SC.
