Sandra S.
Mclain
September 4, 1946 – June 25, 2024
Sandra Joyce Stack McLain, age 77, of Prosperity died Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born September 4, 1946 in Sumter, SC, she was the daughter of the late Wade H. and Edith Fulmer Stack. She was married for 37 years to G.O. "Pete" McLain, Jr.

She was always active in her church, teaching Sunday School at Hunt Memorial Baptist Church and Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church as well as teaching Vacation Bible School at Wightman United Methodist Church. Her faith was paramount to her and she remained dedicated to bible study and prayer groups throughout her life.
She had a servant's heart, caring for others, especially her family and friends. Her greatest joy was her family- children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She treasured time with each of them. Sandra will always be remembered as a loving mother, a caring wife, and a Christian woman who stood strong in her faith.
