Obituary

Wagener – Ms. Sandra Summer, 55, went to her eternal home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, January 28, 2017. Sandra is the beloved mother of Krystal "Kristy" Cansler and her husband Hans of Aiken, Robert Holsenback, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Wagener, and Jonathan Holsenback and his fiancée Erin McClain of Aiken; loving grandmother of Kaylee Cansler, Eva Holsenback, Benjamin Holsenback, and Charlotte Holsenback; daughter of William and Patricia Boyette Summer of Aiken; sister of Anne Summer Hust and her husband Chuck of Greenville and Patricia Summer of Aiken; and brother-in-law Doug Swearingen of Lexington; aunt of Summer Swearingen, Madison Swearingen, Brittany Holtsizer, and Jacob Baynham. Sandra is a member of First Baptist Church of Wagener where she faithfully served and ministered as pianist for 14 years. Her life is a blessing and her memory a treasure. She is loved and missed beyond measure. Sandra is now playing a golden grand piano in Heaven. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, Wagener, SC. A service celebrating the life of Sandra will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Wagener. Reverends Kenneth McDonald and David Robinson will be ministering. Sandra will be laid to rest at Rosemont Cemetery in Newberry. Condolences may be made online for Sandra's family at www.blizzardfuneralhome.com.
