Sandra Wood Hightower 63 of Chapin SC joined her Heavenly Father on Tuesday June 26 2012 peacefully at her home. Graveside funeral services were conducted at Elmwood Memorial Park at 11:00 AM Friday June 29 2012 by the Rev. Stuart Pritchett. Visitation was from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Whitaker Funeral Home Chapin. Mrs. Hightower was born February 26 1949 in Sumter County a daughter of the late Carswell and Mozelle Winkles Wood. Sandra loved being around her family and is survived by her daughters Sherrie (David) Jacques of Chapin and Kimberly Brettelle (Jimmy) Frick of Lexington; brother Jimmy (Michelle) Wood of Louisiana; and grandchildren Tyler Mathis Chandler Jacques Matthew Jacques River Mathis and Riley Behr Frick.
