Selena Chapman Baker 47 of West Columbia died Monday September 26 2005 at the Lexington Medical Center.Ms Baker was born on October 12 1957 in Newberry a daughter of Myra Epting Chapman and the late Lewis E. Chapman. She graduated from Newberry High School and received a degree from the University of South Carolina in 1977. She was employed at First Citizens Bank in Columbia since 1978 and was currently Senior Vice President Mergers and Acquisitions. She was a former member of Colony Lutheran Church and an active member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. She was very interested in the arts and sang with the Arpad Daraz Singers. Ms. Baker is survived by her mother of Newberry; one sister and brother-in-law Caroline C. and Rick Busch of Doswell VA; and two nieces Madison Halley Busch and Georgia Ellen BuschFuneral services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Arden Hallman and the Rev. Delano Ricard. Interment was in the church cemetery.Visitation was from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Whitaker Funeral Home.
