Sharon Irene Zeien, 66, of Little Mountain died Thursday, April 28, 2022. Born on May 11, 1955 in Peterboro, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Irene Barbara and Harold Arthur Ross. She worked for many years as a secretary for various departments within the State of Michigan, ultimately retiring as the secretary to the Warden of the Standish Max Prison. Upon retirement, she and her husband, Rick, moved to the southeast, ultimately settling on Little Mountain, SC. Sharon was a professional in all that she did. She was a caring person who loved everyone she met and always put others first. She had a green thumb, was always optimistic and positive, and had a fun laugh that was infectious. And she made the best chocolate cake. Above all else, Sharon loved her family. She and her twin sister, Karen, would plan family dinners to create moments where everyone could 'just be together.' Sharon treasured those times and the simple joy that came from being surrounded by those she loved. She was especially close to her grandchildren who lovingly called her Nama, Abigail and Myles, and to her niece and nephew, Allison and Aaron. Sharon will be remembered for her generous spirit and gracious heart. She is survived by her husband, Richard Charles Zeien; daughter, Melissa Robinson (Jason) of MI; son, Richard "Ricky" Zeien, II (Megan) of MI; grandchildren, Abigail and Myles Robinson; siblings, Karen Coleman (Randy) of FL; Harold Ross, Jr., of MI, and Helen Hardenburg (Keith) of Ontario; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sharon is also survived by her beloved dog, Tux, whom she spoiled every day. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John Ross of MI.
