On January 14 2011 Sherry W. Fulmer finally received her ultimate healing as she drew her last breath at Self Regional Memorial Hospital in Greenwood SC. where she began her life on March 16 1970. She was a faithful wife to Bobby E. Fulmer for 20 years and a loving encouraging mother to Jamie Fulmer. Sherry was a graduate of Piedmont Technical College and was employed at Riley Family Practice in Saluda SC Surviving along with her husband and daughter are her parents Sara and Frankie Altman of Newberry SC and Harold Willard of Mt. Holly NC special niece Candace Willard of the home brothers Steve Willard and Kim of Cornelia GA and J.B. Willard of Winder GA and many other nieces and nephews . Sherry was a courageous Godly woman who fought her medical battle with all of her might as she endured many surgeries and procedures. No matter what Sherry was going through she remained strong for her daughter and family. She will be missed by many but will remain in their hearts forever. Memorial services were held at 1:00 PM Monday January 17 2011 at Freedom Baptist Church Newberry SC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sherry Fulmer Medical Fund First Citizens Bank. Due to the weather conditions the family did receive in the lobby of the Days Inn on S.C. Highway 34 Newberry.
