Shirley Ann Hatcher Moore, 81, of Newberry, died Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at White Oak Manor.

Born September 19, 1941 in the Edgefield Community. She was the daughter of the late Haskell Bertis and Ella Busby Hatcher Rowe.

Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She took great joy in raising her two grandsons, Daniel and Joseph Moore. She also loved her cats. Shirley attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She is survived by daughters Debra Moore (Brian), Diane Livingston (Bobby); and son, Joe Moore (Tammy Turner); grandchildren, Robbie Livingston (Julie Willingham) and Lee Livingston (Carla Lindler), Samantha Moore (Jay Dunaway), Melanie Moore (Gabe Crawford), Jeffrey Moore, Diamond Carter (Michael), Amber Santa-Maria (Michael); 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ray Hatcher and a sister, Frances Patterson.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Olin Daniel "Redd" Moore; children, Olin Daniel "Danny" Moore, Jr., and Cleve Bertis Moore; siblings, Raymond, James, Edna Joyce Hatcher, Shelby Jean Ready, Virginia Cox, and Louise P. Grooms.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, by John Cannon, January 2, 2023 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Newberry. Burial will follow immediately in Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the cemetery.
