Sue Kaufman Elliott

Sue Kaufman Elliott, 80, of Chapin, South Carolina, died on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Born on May 27, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Jean Buck Kaufman.

With unwavering kindness and dedication, Sue spent her career as a lab technician at Marion General Hospital in Ohio, which is where she met her husband, Bob. Her meticulous nature and compassionate spirit impacted everyone she worked with, colleagues and patients alike.

Beyond her professional life, Sue was a woman of varied interests and talents. She had a passion for sewing and cooking, creating beautiful garments and delicious dishes that delighted family and friends. Sue's adventurous spirit led her to enjoy numerous cruises, exploring the beauty of the world with her loving husband, Bob.

Sue’s remarkable generosity and caring nature were evident to all who met her; she would literally give you the shirt off her back, and sometimes her sweater. She had the unique ability to become fast friends with anyone, often forming deep, genuine connections that enriched the lives of many.

In addition to her husband, Robert “Bob” Joseph Elliott, Sue is survived by her sons, Charlie Geyer and Joshua Geyer.

Services will take place at Bethel Lutheran Church at a later date.
