T. Sam Ziady, 73, of Chappells, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, April 7, 2024, at his home.

He was born on November 21, 1950, in Los Angles, California. He was the son of the late George Sam Ziady and the late Billie Jo Jennings Ziady.

Mr. Ziady was a graduate from Clemson University where he obtained his Master's Degree in Library Science. He worked for many years at the Pickens County Library and later moved to Newberry County where he spent the rest of his life working diligently as the Director at the Newberry County Library. He was dedicated to his work and was proud to always be at hand to the growth of readers and growing minds. He was very involved in his community and was most proud of being apart of the South Carolina First Step program.

Mr. Ziady possessed a love for not only books and novelties but also for horses and often enjoyed riding and caring for his on his farm.

He is survived by his sister, Mary S. Ziady and her husband, Richard; as well as his cousin, Linda Sue Costly.
