Tate Thomas Freeman of Little Mountain was born on Monday, August 9, 2021 and passed peacefully in the loving arms of his mother and father on Monday, August 16, 2021.
Tate is the son of Redden and Kaci Freeman and little brother of Bryce Redden Freeman. Tate came into this world with a bundle of energy, a strong heart and fought hard during his time here. With a head full of black hair, he was already following in the footsteps of his brother.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Harry and Gloria Freeman and maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Sally Huffstetler, all of Chapin; aunts and uncles, Lindsey Freeman (Kenny), Ashley Huffstetler (Nick), Justin (Kim) Huffstetler, and Brian (Paula) Magargle; cousins, Alex Magargle, and Dalton, Luke, and Waylon Huffstetler.
Services for Tate will be conducted by the Rev. David Tholstrup at 5:00 PM Friday, August 20, 2021 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Chapin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Following the services, the family will receive relatives and friends in the Fellowship Hall.
In honor of Tate and the light he brought to this world, the family asks that you please dress comfortably and with joy for the services.
Pallbearers will be, Alex Magargle, Dalton, Luke, and Waylon Huffstetler, Tom Atkinson and Ben Hayes.
Redden and Kaci, along with their families, express their sincere appreciation for the staff of Richland Prisma Health, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
