Teddy P. Dominick Jr. 70 of 2 North Shore Drive Prosperity died Tuesday January 25 2011 at Lexington Medical Center. Born on October 6 1940 in Columbia he was a son of the late Teddy Parker and Nell Ruff Dominick. He was a graduate of Newberry College and the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary. Teddy served as pastor at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Summerville and the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Newberry where he continued his membership. He is survived by his wife Laura Summer Dominick; daughters Dee Dominick (Alex) Bradley of Greensboro NC and Kristin Dominick (Chuck) Bryan of Cummings GA; son Parker (Erika) Dominick of Irmo; step-daughters Shawn Berry (Ben) Taylor of Tampa FL and Amanda Berry (Jason) Coleman on Bentonville AR; sister LaNelle D. (Robert) Barber of Charleston SC; brother George (Sheryl Fincher) Dominick of Newberry; and twelve grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Friday at 4:00 PM at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer by the Rev. David Seymour the Rev. Floyd Sides and the Rev. Bill Stone . The family did receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
