Theresa Ann Hoyt 58 of Chapin died Thursday September 17 2015 at her residence. Visitation will be held on Sunday September 20 2015 from 5:00 until 6:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Chapin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday September 21 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church by the Reverend Andrew J. Vollkommer. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She was born on January 8 1957 in Columbia a daughter of Helen Hoyt of Chapin and the late Samuel Waydell Hoyt. Theresa thoroughly enjoyed relaxing watching classic movies and visiting the beach and mountains. She loved all animals especially cats but her family will remember her most by her love for them. In addition to her mother she is survived by sisters Sandra Davis (Mike) of Prosperity and Bobbie Harley of Chapin; many nieces nephews great-nieces and great-nephews; and a special friend Randy Krenz.
