Therese Lang, 95, of Chapin, died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Generations of Chapin. Born on February 14, 1923 in Coteau Station, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Euclide and Antoinette Lapalme. In the peak of her life while working, she was a Registered Medical Record Administrator in New York and Oregon. She is survived by her children, Gerard H. Lang of Fayetteville, NC, Michelle R. Smith-Lang of Batesburg, Jaqueline M. Addison of Batesburg, Robert G. Lang (Teo) of Chapin, and Paul M. Lang (Connie) of Canastota, NY; twelve grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Arnold H. Lang; son, Peter J.D. Lang; brother, George Lapalme; two granddaughters; and one great granddaughter. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 195 Amicks Ferry Road, Chapin. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM conducted by Rev. Dennis B. Willey. The family suggests memorials be made to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, PO Box 549, Chapin, SC 29036.
