Thomas E. Tommy Wise 65 of 24348 US Highway 76 Newbery died Friday April 11 2008 at his residence.He was born on Nov. 24 1942 in Newbery a son of the late W. Tillman and Verdie Corley Wise. He was an employee of Sizemore and was a former employee of the Torrington Bearing Co. and he was a member of the Joanna Church of God. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era.He is survived by his wife Claudia Brooks Wise of Newberry; a daughter Sherry (Roger) Burden of Kinards; a sister Martha Ann Koon of Newberry; a brother W. Terry Wise of Newberry; and 3 grandchildren Todd (Miranda) Crain Andrew Crain and Ashlee Burden.Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev.
