Thomas Ronald "Ronnie" Fulmer, 76, of Newberry died Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on December 20, 1946 in Newberry he was the son of the late John Thomas "J.T." and Sue Brazell Fulmer.

Ronnie was a member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church. He worked for many years in sales and was the owner of Midlands Specialty Products.

He was a happy and content person, patient and laid back, always sharing a kind word and a smile with everyone he met. Ronnie had a quick-wit and a positive attitude; he enjoyed the experience even when his "short-cut" made the trips twice as long. No matter what he was going through, physically, he never complained.

Ronnie's favorite pastime was simply being with his family. Daddy to two daughters, he loved Tamra and Brandy fiercely and showered them with love and attention throughout their lives. His love grew as he became PaPa to Hunter and Grant, he was so very proud of all they accomplished.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shelby Neel Fulmer; daughters, Tamra Taylor (Michael) and Brandy Whitesides (Kevin); and grandchildren, Hunter Taylor and Grant Whitesides.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Dan Ratchford at 3:30 PM, Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Smyrna Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall.
