He also leaves behind several beloved nieces and nephews. Thomas was born in Boston, MA and later moved to Weymouth, MA where he attended school. He was an active member in the Weymouth Eagles. He was an influential mentor in the flooring industry. Thomas ran several commercial ventures throughput the South Shore and Boston. He last worked with the Alferes Family for which he ran the satellite locations of their businesses on Martha's Vineyard, MA and Mashpee, MA. He was a true professional who prided himself on his work ethic and was called upon far and wide for his expertise in his trade. Thomas was a loving, caring individual whom if he saw someone in need, would quietly provide for them. He truly was the definition of integrity and was always there to greet whomever he met with a smile and trademark handshake. He was an avid animal lover and in his youth owned a Pet Shop in Weymouth, MA. He will be sadly missed by his beloved pets Hush Puppy and Chi Chi. His love for animals was no match for his love of family. Always the center of the party, Tom embodied his Irish Heritage and emitted a rare light and humor that will never be forgotten. Services will be held at a later date. The family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Thomas name.
