Vera Malinda Brown Augusta, GA – Vera Malinda Palmer Brown, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 19, 2021. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. David Bohling officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Mrs. Brown retired after 36 years in the nursing profession. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Bridgette Brown (Paul) David; granddaughter: Emme David; sister and brother-in-law: Pam (Ken) Higginbotham; brothers and sisters-in-law: Marvin (Alma) Palmer, Rev. Bruce (Joyce) Palmer, and Cornell "Bull" Palmer; special nieces and nephews, church family, and many work friends and associates.
