Vivian Bernese Moore Gore, 82, of Newberry was born December 29, 1943, a daughter of the late George S and Myra Bowers Moore. She was raised in Prosperity and attended Mid-Carolina High School.

She worked in various roles, most notably as a security guard for Waccamaw Pottery and home furnishings in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Vivian’s greatest joys came from her time spent with family.

Survivors include her brother-in-law, Henry Franklin; sister-in law, Judy D. Moore, all of Prosperity; and her nieces and nephews, Kevin (Charlene), Daniel (Lucy) and Olivia Moore; Charles (April), Emma and Samuel Moore of Kinards; Eric (Rhonda), Josie and Zeke Moore of Pomaria; Rhiannon (Jeremy), Mya and Alli Larsen; and Aaron (Corie), Zoie and Kingsley Franklin, of Prosperity.

She was preceded in death by both parents, brothers Tommy and Randy Moore; sisters Chloe M. Dennis, Crystal M. Franklin, and Iris Ramona More; brother-in-law Bennett Dennis; and sister-in-law Nancy G. Moore.

In respect of Vivian’s wishes, no public services will be held.

Contributions in Vivian’s memory may be made to help defer funeral expenses or to the charity of one’s choice.
